Control are made from Folded /
welded and construction system. The controlling equipments mounted in
the panels are mainly relay and contactors Many relays and contactors
are joined together to form a control circuit. The control panel
generally has push buttons, illuminating lamps, selector switches,
indicators & meters.

Construction
features
Avaids make Relay Panels are made using a construction known as
Folded/welded Construction System. The construction being welded, it
offers remarkable facility during wiring, maintenance and
modification of panel.
Painting : High quality steel sheets are used for better
results with seven-tank treatment. This has eliminated the problems
of wrinkles and waviness of sheets. For painting, Individual
spraying booths are used. These prevent dust & foreign particles
from sticking to the panels. As a standard procedure, an epoxy coat
is put over the primered sheets and this is followed by a top coat
of polyurethane Aliphatic, the hardest available paint in the
marketplace. The painted surface is subjected to various tests like
salt spray test, paint thickness test, scratch hardness test,
adhesion tape test etc to test its quality for hardness, thickness
and finish. |
Hardware : The body of
panel comprises of a set of standard hardware. Zinc coated/duly painted
clamps, handles, hinges, fasteners, nut, bolt etc. Other components are
doorframes, C-channels, cable trays etc., which are available in various
shapes and sizes. For panels above 1500mm in height, imported locks
having good door holding property and good aesthetics are provided.
Protection : XLPE gaskets, which provide enhanced protection
against dust & water, are used in our panels, by using them, we have
achieved protection class of IP-55 and IP-65. The problem of rusting
does not arise as members and corners are made from light aluminum
alloys.

Control panels may be used anywhere for controlling purpose. These
panels find their application world wide for all types of industrial and
communication network systems. Panel shape may be varied according to
the customer requirement.

Marshalling Panels are used
for the marshalling of field cables. There are two sets of cables
coming to the panel, one originating from the field, while the other
going to the control room. This panel facilitates the criss-crossing
and interconnection of both the set of cables.
Two standard types of cable termination arrangements, wire wrapping
type (maxitermi) and standard terminals are used. The standard
accessories and internal set up of the panels as 'C' Channel, Earth
bus, Cable Tray etc are also provided. These enclosures can be
either wall mounted or with base frame. Again these can be made for
both indoor as well as outdoor applications with required surface
finish with choice of either paint or powder coating in any shade as
per RAL or IS standards. |
19" Racks and enclosures are
the most commonly used mounting systems for housing of control,
instrumentation and electronic equipment
As 19" mounting is a worldwide standard, these racks and
enclosures find a wide range of applications.
We at Avaids manufacture a range of 19" enclosures as per IEC 297.
These enclosures are made in different construction system including
welded and folded system and are provided for with 19" mounting
arrangement. Typical applications include mounting of networking
equipments, servers, communication equipment and custom built 19"
equipments.

As a standard international
practice- equipments are designed for housing into 19" racks.
The rack in turn is many control and instrumentation fitted inside
the 19" panel meant for the purpose.
19" type racks are specified in terms of U=44.45 mm, viz.12U,
16U, 22U, and 36U. Other sizes are available on request. Depending
on user requirement, the racks can be provided in square and round
profiles. To meet further environmental requirements, the ruggedness
of the racks can be increased by design changes. |

Motor Control Centre
(mcc) : For the majority of industrial applications LT power is
distributed through MCC panel. Control of most of the motors are
from MCC panel, and local control near motors is provided from the
local push button stations.
Our panel system is a modular system delivered in section form;
enabling the panel builders to build any configuration for main &
sub distribution boards and motor control centers.
Modular construction of Avaids MCC panel makes it flexible to
increase sections in future when need arises during expansion. MCC
Panels are made in Fecosy/Folded construction by CRCA sheets.
Controlling equipments housed in MCC panel are generally switchgear,
contractors, measuring meters and motor control circuits. As per
customer requirement cable entry can be provided in bottom or in
top. Generally bus bars are provided on top of the panel and
droppers are taken for different feeders. |

have achieved protection class of IP-54.
MCC Panels are broadly used to control supply to various motors used in
various plants. Picture shown also houses Annunciator to indicate faulty
section and nature of fault. Centralized MCC Panel with complete status
of the equipment helps operator to sequentially start feeders and
minimize down time during faults by identifying nature of fault.

Kiosk are supplied as self
contained units suitable for installation on concrete pads or as a stand
alone units. The shelters are suitable for multilateral use for housing,
measuring & controlling equipment in power plants, natural gas,
energy, petroleum refinery & petrochemicals. It creates a non
hazardous & safe environment in an otherwise hazardous area.

Constructional
Features:
Structure: The shelter consists of self framing exterior
skin assembled on a rigid superstructure. The super structure is
made up of 3mm folded sheet of CRCA or Stainless Steel. It consists
of main frame members and load bearing members. The construction is
such that the weight of the items installed inside the shelters is
transferred on the main frame and load bearing members.
Body: Depending on specific customer requirement, the
external & internal bodies are made up of sheet steel or
stainless steel. The two layers are separated by a gap of about 50mm
and the space is filled up by using Rockwool/Glasswool/Puff (other
specified gap and insulation is also available on request).This
layer of insulation provides protection against temperature
variations in the atmosphere. The outer sheet is normally
corrugated, while the interior is plain. Other patterns can also be
made on request. |
Mounting: Various
components inside the shelters like analyzers and power distribution
equipment are mounted using standard 'C' channel or 'X' channel
arrangement with pre fabricated mounting hardware.
Door : Normally, two doors are provided in our shelters - one
for normal use and the other for emergency purpose. The standard locking
system used is the 3 point heavy duty locking system. Doors are mounted
on sturdy external hinges. Continuous XLPE gasketting is applied along
the door periphery to provide dust proofing. The main door is provided
with double glass window with automatic spring door closure, is outward
opening and has outside padlock holes. The emergency doors allows
opening of the door from inside with an emergency panic bar, in case the
door is locked from inside.
Base : The base of shelters is constructed by
ISMC-100/150/200.The selection of ISMC channel depends on the size and
type of the shelter.
Hinge : The hinges are specially designed, made of SS/MS and
passivated with Zinc. These are robust & screwed on the door, thus
providing safety against burglary.
Electrical accessories : The electrical connections inside the
shelter are made keeping in mind hazardous area classification. In
general, the items used are as per CENELEC standard. Separate Ex-proof
junction boxes for power distribution, signals and alarms are provided.
Wiring inside the shelter can be done as per customer requirements.
